Whew! When it rains it pours around here in the desert, but I do have to admit that I love the Monsoons. No monsoons weather-wise yet, but July will be here before we know it! We have been going through lots of transitions around here and my blogging has fallen by the wayside. Apologies, but I'm sure you all understand...yes? :)
Pre-school gets out next week and for the past 2 years the weeks following the end of school have been extra tricky for us, as they probably are for most kiddos. It has always taken 3 weeks (for some strange reason) before Kai seems to get into the groove, so I am trying to prepare myself and set realistic expectations.
I think that is definitely the key, it's just a matter of reminding myself of what the realistic expectations are...for kids this age (4yrs and almost 3yrs) and kids with special needs. I think I am a mom with special needs...LOL. Seriously I crack myself up sometimes. Ok, back to work now! *hugs* ~Michelle
