Wow...time sure does fly by when you ARE NOT pregnant!  Heh. I was just talking to one of my most fabulously fun clients who is expecting Baby #3 in TWO weeks...and silly me mentioned that I couldn't believe how fast time is going by and she so kindly reminded me that this is SO not the case when you are 2 weeks away from your due date.  How quickly we forget...but then that is why I like maternity photos so much...so we can remember that most amazing and incredible time...and appreciate being able to sleep on your stomach and bend down to pick something up...or having your ribcage back again.  ;)  Here's a sneak peek for you guys...can't wait to show you all of them!  *hugs*  ~Michelle

Wondertime Photography & Elysium Productions {Urban Session - Part 1}

I've been a busy little photo-bee lately and have a really fun project in the works for WPPI 2009 (aka Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) next week in Vegas!  I am really excited to be working with the super-fun and extremely talented Julie and Alex Hill of Elysium Productions in Orange County, Cali.  Check out the incredible films that they are creating for their clients - I swear they are the most beautiful and creative pieces I have ever seen and it makes me want to get married and have a REAL wedding (instead of eloping to Tahoe, although we didn't really elope because we couldn't keep it a secret and ended up telling everyone...then my wonderful hubby forgot his pants...ok, well this is a story for another post!  Heehee.)  Anyhoo...

Fellow Photogs - I am going to be working at the Elysium Booth 1171 (way in the back) so you will have to come by and say hello and see what they have created for photographers - if you own a 5D or are planning to in the future, this is the wave of the future and you must see it! 

My amazing Clients - we are going to be offering something SO neat in the next several months, I can't wait to share it with you all!

...it was kinda funny because initially I was just supposed to take some headshots for her, but I wanted to try out some ideas with a couple, so it turned out to be an entire lovestory (aka engagement) session instead, but I AM SOOOOOO super-excited about the results.  Casia and her hubby Eric were amazing to work with and up for anything and brought tons of great ideas as well.  If you want to see the entire session, check out my main website HERE.  Enter the "On-Location" site, then click "Client Proofing" and the password is: lovestory

Piece the Puzzle

April is Autism Awareness month...and it also marks the 1-year anniversary for Kai's official diagnosis of Autism.  I can't believe it has been a year...I actually feel like it is has been many, many years since that very challenging time in our lives.    The progress he has made is incredible...and we are lucky he has responded so well to all of the early and intensive intervention - because not all children with autism do.  I sit here and wonder how much I should write...I feel that it is important to share the message of hope and to encourage people to support research and funding for figuring out more about this devastating neurological disorder and eventually finding a cure...I will post again tomorrow with more of our story, but for now, I will post a few of the images from this past weekends Autism Walk & Resource Fair:
