Sneak Peek { Tucson Senior Photographer }

This is just a quick sneak peek of the mini session I did with Chelsea on our way out of Cali.  She and I have been planning and brainstorming about her senior photo session(s) for months now since she has been working as my assistant - HOORAY!  So, you will be seeing alot of Chelsea around here and just so you all know, you are gonna hear her name in the future too...she is über talented and cool and beautiful and smart and I just plain love her if you couldn't tell!  Heehee.  Anyhoo...here are just a couple for now:

 

Photo + Video = Fusion {New Products}

I am SO excited to finally get to share this amazing new product that Wondertime Photography and Rasmussen-Harvey Photography are now going to be offering!  I just spent the past week at the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International convention with many of our industries most talented and innovative artists and I am so excited to be a part of this innovation and creativity.

 

 

For my wonderful clients, this means that we are now going to be able to offer you a multi-media DVD slideshow that mixes your final still images with video clips that we capture during your session and all of this will be edited and set to music by the talented team at Elysium Productions in Orange County California.  Be on the look out for details on how this works in the next week or so and feel free to contact me prior to that if you already have a session scheduled.

Wondertime Photography & Elysium Productions {Urban Session - Part 1}

I've been a busy little photo-bee lately and have a really fun project in the works for WPPI 2009 (aka Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) next week in Vegas!  I am really excited to be working with the super-fun and extremely talented Julie and Alex Hill of Elysium Productions in Orange County, Cali.  Check out the incredible films that they are creating for their clients - I swear they are the most beautiful and creative pieces I have ever seen and it makes me want to get married and have a REAL wedding (instead of eloping to Tahoe, although we didn't really elope because we couldn't keep it a secret and ended up telling everyone...then my wonderful hubby forgot his pants...ok, well this is a story for another post!  Heehee.)  Anyhoo...

Fellow Photogs - I am going to be working at the Elysium Booth 1171 (way in the back) so you will have to come by and say hello and see what they have created for photographers - if you own a 5D or are planning to in the future, this is the wave of the future and you must see it! 

My amazing Clients - we are going to be offering something SO neat in the next several months, I can't wait to share it with you all!

More "Sisters" {Tucson Urban Photo Shoot}

We had so much fun walking around downtown Tucson and the girls said it felt like they were models for the day - and what girl doesn't want that? :)  Thanks to hubby for coming along and getting some great detail shots and some amazing shots from a different perspective, would ya hurry up and edit those please?  Not like ya have another job or anything!  ;)  Thanks again ladies, you are beautiful!

15 Candles {Urban Location Session}

I am sitting here trying to remember what life was like for me when I turned 15 and I just can't remember...heehee.  Crazy how time goes by...I guess that's why I cherish photographs and have found myself capturing these moments for others.  So, in 19 years when my Goddaughter is 34 and wondering how time passed so quickly and she is trying to figure out what she was doing when she was 15, she will have these photographs to look back on and hopefully they remind her of her first year in high school, her first boyfriend, that one of her favorite songs was "Shake It" by Metro Station, how she had to take an Early Childhood Development class and carry around a robotic baby for a weekend (yes, it cried, pooped, needed to be fed AND burped and EVERYTHING - Crazy or what?!?!?) and I also hope she remembers me, and how much she is loved by me and how much fun I had walking around downtown with her that day.  Love you Melanie - you are gorgeous both inside and out!  ~Michelle

Recent Sessions ~ Newborns, Seniors & My Boys

It's been getting busy around here - which we love!  Just wanted to make sure you have checked out all of our recent sessions over on the Studio Blog - here they are:

We were so lucky to be able to capture some AMAZING newborns this past weekend, they were both so brand new, I was in heaven!  Here's Baby "C" who was just 7 days old, the perfect age for my favorite squishy-sleeping-baby shots!  Check the main blog HERE for the original post:

And here is Baby "J" who was 2 weeks - he just made the cut-off for best timing for newborn sessions, but this little guy was incredible because he slept the ENTIRE session - YaY!  Actually he did wake up for a little while and was just looking around at everyone before he went back to sleep after a little snack - check the main blog HERE to see the original post.

And last, but not least, a quick snap of my boys on their SECOND day of school.  I forgot to bring the camera on the first day, but does it REALLY matter?  Actually now that I think about it, it was actually their SECOND, FIRST day of school since they are going 5 days and there are two classes (MWF & TTH)  Ha!  So I'm saved!!!  ;)  Anyhow, I think they are so cute here...Kai is 3 (and a half!) and Finn is 2 yrs now - crazy how time flies.
