Adam & Carla ~ Sneak Peek! {Tucson Photographer }

My journey as a professional photographer over the past 10 years started out like many...as a hobby and a passion, trying out different subject matter that was interesting and fun...in the beginning landscapes, animals, architecture, travel...next lots of friends and family...then weddings...and THEN we had our own little ones, and that was when it hit me - sometime in 2005 - I am supposed to be a children's photographer!!!  DUH!  Heehee. 

I really love photographing people, especially kids - it's definitely my favorite thing these days and what I focus on for the most part which includes maternity, newborns, families and high school seniors.  Why am I telling you all of this, you might wonder?  Although I don't photograph weddings too often anymore, I have been known to make a few exceptions every now and then...and I am so glad I did! 

We had so much fun photographing Adam & Carla's amazing wedding day in San Diego...it was extra special since they are family - oh and they happen to be super fun people too!  Thanks you guys for inviting us to capture your love and friendship!  Here's a sneak peek of a few of my favorite portraits!  *hugs* ~M

Wondertime Photography & Elysium Productions {Urban Session - Part 1}

I've been a busy little photo-bee lately and have a really fun project in the works for WPPI 2009 (aka Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) next week in Vegas!  I am really excited to be working with the super-fun and extremely talented Julie and Alex Hill of Elysium Productions in Orange County, Cali.  Check out the incredible films that they are creating for their clients - I swear they are the most beautiful and creative pieces I have ever seen and it makes me want to get married and have a REAL wedding (instead of eloping to Tahoe, although we didn't really elope because we couldn't keep it a secret and ended up telling everyone...then my wonderful hubby forgot his pants...ok, well this is a story for another post!  Heehee.)  Anyhoo...

Fellow Photogs - I am going to be working at the Elysium Booth 1171 (way in the back) so you will have to come by and say hello and see what they have created for photographers - if you own a 5D or are planning to in the future, this is the wave of the future and you must see it! 

My amazing Clients - we are going to be offering something SO neat in the next several months, I can't wait to share it with you all!

Wedding: Lindsay & Cord

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Lindsay.  She grew up living across the street from Cord.  When Lindsay was 6 years old and was asked who she was going to marry, she replied, "Cord."  And she did.  And they adore one another...

I was pretty pleased with my original ring shot until Lindsay told us a story about a game that Cord's dad created called Scramble, so I had to take a shot of the rings using the game which they had set out at the kids table, and I have to say I like it alot as well!
